St. Patrick’s RC qualifies for Worlds!

St. Patrick's Rowing Club competed in the Arklow Rowing Club & Wicklow Rowing Club Offshore Regatta yesterday (7th Aug 2021) in Wicklow. The crew was -  Stroke Karl Montgomery, 2nd Stroke Derek Boland, 2nd bow Niall O'Toole and Bow Ruggiero Paolillo [Cox Niall Halpin]. The lads came 4th just 0.9 seconds behind third place Passage West Rowing Club. Our quad crew have qualified to row in the World Rowing Coastal Championship in Portugal 🇵🇹 It takes place in Oeiras – Portugal, between 24th September and 3rd October 2021.

We also were involved in a mixed double composite crew with fellow East Coast Rowing Club St. Michaels. The crew was Niall O'Toole and Divana Anderson, they placed 3rd. They also qualify for the Worlds.
