Lamaby Challenge 2020
Lamaby Challenge 2020 will take place on the 19th September 2020 in Rush, Co. Dublin. The event is hosted by Fingal Rowing Club.
This is an open water rowing experience unlike any other – a challenging, thrilling, rewarding row followed by an afternoon of celebrations and family fun at Rush Sailing Club.
Now in it’s fourth year, the Lambay Challenge is an all-inclusive row, open to traditional wooden working boats, currachs, skiffs, singles, gigs and longboats. From eight boats in its first year, in 2019 the event was fully sold out months in advance with over 30 boats at the starting line on the day. Crews from around Dublin and Ireland were joined by visiting boats from the US, UK, Netherlands and Denmark.
