St. Patrick’s RC to feature on RTE

St. Patrick’s Rowing Club is set to feature on RTE’s Nationwide the 24th of Feb 2020. Late last year four boats from our club made their way to the River Barrow in Co. Carlow to take part in the Barrow Challenge Race. The Barrow Challenge is an 18k challenge from the picturesque setting of St Mullins. The course then brings you down the barrow river for 18km finishing up at the heart of New Ross, Co. Wexford. It was unique and beautiful race and all of our crews did very well. We had two winning Skiffs and one winning One Design Boat on the day,

RTE’s Nationwide were filming a feature about the race and asked John Doyle (Senior Rower & Committee Member) for an interview. They also captured some stunning footage of our boats and crews. We’re really looking forward to viewing the show, save the date 24th of February at 7pm on RTE.
