The future is bright! ☀️🚣‍♀️

St. Patrick’s Rowing Club is delighted to announce that we have received Sports Capital Programme funding to the value of €95,800. The money will go towards future proofing our pontoon structure. Unfortunately, our current structure is not fit for purpose and needs to be replaced. Our aim is to make rowing and boating accessible to all in the community including those who are disabled. Access to the water should be available to everyone.

This project is a huge undertaking and will require additional funds to bring it to life but we are committed to delivering a state of the art pontoon structure for all.

Today is a great day for the members of St. Patrick’s Rowing Club and the community of Ringsend. We want to sincerely thank the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media for awarding us this grant.

Finally, the grant would not have been possible without the work behind the scenes by the Committee of St. Patrick’s Rowing Club. They worked tirelessly on the application and today is the fruits of their labour. Thank you.

The future is bright for our members and our community.
